Successful commercial laundry installations for Purpose-Built Student Accommodation are reliant on more than installing washing machines and tumble dryers.

Our latest project saw our engineering team complete a full commercial laundry installation for a new student accommodation development in Scotland, following many months of planning and collaboration with the client's design team and construction contractor.
Designed Around the Building
Working within current Building Regulations and construction programmes, our experienced team designed and delivered every aspect of the installation, ensuring the laundry room was fully integrated into the development.
Our scope of works included:
- Premium Miele Professional commercial washing machines and tumble dryers
- Installation of Unistrut support systems behind the machines for auto-dosing equipment
- Installation of automatic detergent dosing systems
- Full commercial ductwork installation
- Electrical installation from the building's distribution board, completed by our own in-house certified electrician
- Plumbing installation and final connections
- Installation and commissioning of the Airwallet cashless payment system
- Full testing and commissioning of all equipment
Throughout the project, our engineers worked in accordance with current Building Regulations and site requirements, with all personnel holding the appropriate Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) accreditation to work safely on active construction sites.
