As we approach our 100-year anniversary in 2026, we’re celebrating the people behind the name that keep our service running smoothly. One such person is Olivia Ide, who supports the domestic consumer base of Forbes Rentals with warmth and professionalism.
Olivia joined the team over two and a half years ago as a Customer Accounts Clerk and has become a valued member of the accounts team; a friendly voice helping customers manage direct debits, handle invoice queries, and navigate their rental accounts.
“When I first joined Forbes, I was amazed by how loyal the customers are,” Olivia says. “I often speak to people who’ve been with us for decades — even generations. One woman told me her mum and grandmother were both Forbes customers, so for her it was just an abvious choice.”
Though Olivia works on the consumer side, her dedication reflects the culture that runs throughout our organisation - one of genuine care, trusted service, and dependable support, which our commercial clients benefit from just as much.

Recently, Olivia also took part in a charity walk to raise funds for Demelza Children’s Hospice, reflecting the values we hold dear: community, compassion, and making a meaningful difference.
