Heron’s Lake Retreat, a luxurious lodge park nestled in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in North Wales, recently undertook a site expansion to accommodate more visitors and enhance their guest experience.
To support the higher turnover - particularly for the lodges with hot tubs, which naturally increase laundry volumes - the retreat turned once again to Forbes Professional to deliver additional commercial laundry solutions.
Expanding a Successful Partnership
We first worked with Heron’s Lake Retreat in 2021, when John Dobbs, our National Account Manager, managed the original installation. John has continued to support the resort as their dedicated account contact and recently coordinated the installation of larger-capacity machines to meet the site’s growing operational needs.
After conducting a detailed site consultation, John specified the Miele PWM 514 (15kg washer) and Miele PDR 516 (16kg dryer) - robust, high-capacity machines designed to handle heavy usage while maintaining fast turnaround times. These machines will perfectly compliment the machines we installed previously. The site continues to also benefit from our Miele dryer ironer - a specialist machine that enables a precision dry whilst simultaneously ironing, ensuring an optimum finish for bed linen and flat work.
