At Forbes, our commitment to sustainability, quality, and service is reflected across every part of the business - from commercial operations to consumer support.
This month, we’re shining a light on Harry Gauld, our Laundry Machine Refurbishment Technician, who plays a vital role in giving our products multiple life cycles.
Harry is based at our head office and works in the wet room, where he reconditions laundry and kitchen appliances that return after rental contracts. Through thorough cleaning, fault-finding, and functional testing, he ensures each appliance is ready for a second life - supporting our commitment to the circular economy.
Whether it’s a domestic Bosch laundry machine or kitchen appliance or a commercial Miele machine, Harry’s attention to detail helps us maintain the high standards our customers expect - at every lifecycle stage of the product.
“Harry sets the benchmark when it comes to pride in workmanship,” says Steve Potter, Service Supervisor. “His care in the refurbishment process directly contributes to the reliability and longevity of our equipment.”
This ethos of longevity, quality, and care mirrors the values we uphold where reliability, sustainability, and award-winning support are essential.
Our pre-loved product range is a great example of how we extend the life of our products - offering the same high-quality appliances, with expert support, at a lower price point.
From domestic to commercial, our teams share one mission: to provide reliable, high-performance appliances with sustainable practices at the core.
👏 Thank you, Harry, for all your dedication and for helping drive our commitment to circularity forward.
